Plain and simple - there aren't really any. Colonial Inauguration can be fun for freshmen but after that there really isn't much. One cool thing is that they set up a beer garden a couple times each spring. The best tradition is probably that each student will get a chance to see a President inaugurated by the time they graduate.

My school is best known for its social sciences. Mainly in the specific field of political science. Most students come to The George Washington University in order to study politics because its so central in the city of Washington DC. Its four blocks away from the white hous, couple of blocks from the World Bank, and 1 mile away from the Secretary of State. GW is known for its high political activity and therefore acts as a magnet to thos politically inclined.

Without a doubt, George Washington University is known for offering fantastic opportunities for internships and careers, no matter what your major. Whether you want to work on Capitol Hill or at the Smithsonian, there's something here for everyone.

It's liberal arts programs and alumni involvement with the government! Many of our presitgious alumni go on to work in the White House or become political leaders. GW is very popular, also, for it's basketball team, mock trial team, and graduate programs.

This school is known because it is the most expesive university in the country. They can deny it all they want but it is always either rated #1 or #2 each year. It is also known for having really nice dormatories. A lot of them are apartments. It is a very good political science school. It has the best location of all the schools in DC. It is in the nicest part of town, right off the metro, and just a few blocks from all of the most popluar tourist attractions in the city.
