Full of diversity

Samantha

My classmates are all eager to learn and are studious yet know how to bring the fun into education and learning.

Aimee

My classmates at Florida State University are very receptive. Many students form study groups with in larger classes to better understand the material in depth. The classroom feels like a huge community of people from different races, places, and religious affiliations. There is never a dull moment when meeting the new and interesting students in your classes every semester.

Amanda

FSU's popluation of around 40,000 students can be alarming at first. That was certianly not a deciding factor when I chose FSU. However, I have learned a lot from my first semester. During this semester, I have surrounded my self with people of different races, cultures, and backgrounds. Together we see the need for higher education and share a love for learning. The people that make up FSU is only a reflection of society apart from campus.

Ashley

Most of them do not come to class, this boggles my mind. If you're going to spend money to attend college, you should attend class.

Holly

My classmates are very diverse. I am in a very art based degree which brings in a variety of people of many cultures, religions, and ethnic group. I think that is what I love most about my major though because no two people are alike and each one of us bring a lot to the table.

Lori

I am a part of a limited access major of 40 students per year. Because it is a competitive program to be accepted into, we are all very driven and smart students. We actively want to learn all that we can about our field. The staff are all extremely knowledgable, since most of them still actively practice aside from teaching. This department also provides many ways for us to be involved through clubs that extend into professional organizations - ASID and IIDA . We are all very different but equally as passionate about learning and being successful after college.

Elizabeth

I have like my classmates very much this far. I find them to be friendly, eager to form study groups and study outside of class, and over all interesting people.

Maureen

My classmates were an eclectic group of young and aspiring nursing students.

Raiza

I have not started school yet...hence no classmates
