What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

Before I came to this school I wish I had known about the DRC which is the disability research center. Initially, I was concerned with my grades and my learning capacity since I have ADD and ADHD, but once I joined the school I realized that the DRC is a huge help in regards to learning disabilities.

I wish I had known how much I would love to work in the advertising industry. FIU's Mass Communications program is one of the best, and I know I would've excelled as one of their students. If there is one thing I learned after college, however, is that it's never too late to do what you love. I am happy to say that my Bachelor's degree in English Literature still helped me strengthen the reading and writing skills I have used since to enter the industry.

The price. I always knew college was expensive, but until I actually sat down and started calculating numbers I realized reality. I chose a school because I liked the campus, the communty, never once did I look at the price and the struggle it would bring to my parents.
