Florida International University Top Questions

What kind of person should not attend Florida International University?

Ibelise

Nobody, everybody should have the same opportunity to attend FIU. Now, if you're a pessimistic ungrateful person, you probably won't be having a good time already. I feel pessimistic myself sometimes, but the moment I remember where I go to school, and how great it is to be part of such a great place I put all the bad things behind. Anybody who's told not to go, should rebel and go. You do what's best for you and your happiness, don't ever let anybody tell you otherwise!

Students who want to attend an already established university should reconsider FIU because the school is young and still developing and making a name for itself.

Everyone should go to FIU; it's a great place to get outside of your comfort zone, learn about new cultures and grow your world view. It's a very accepting university over all; very "Come one, come all" vibe that is welcoming and friendly.

Any kind of person can attend FIU. Being that it is in Miami, it is a very diverse campus. It is unlikely that someone would feel they do not belong. If a person does not mind an urban setting, but is not looking for a school with a huge campus, and is willing to work hard to accomplish their academic goals, FIU could be right for them.

Kayla

There is no certain type of person that should attend. If you want somewhere that is international, exciting, fun, caring, unique, in the middle of everything, top notch, then FIU is the school for you. Although it is a young school compared to many 4 year universities, FIU has proved itself to be an excellent contendor for bright minds, leaders in society and more.
