Florida International University is best known for its diversity. There are so many different cultures and beliefs represented on campus. Moreover, one doesn’t need to be a part of a specific culture to feel accepted in the school. Everywhere I turn there are different cultures communicating, working, and building relationships together. Our differences do not tear our school a part but make us one big community and family. For me FIU is known for it's diversity and community invovlement such as it's center which feeds hurricane information during hurricane season, many clubs which volunteer to help local hospitals, and sports entertainment.
