FIU is the provider of a great education for a majority of the Hispanic and Latino communities in Miami, FL, which I proudly represent. The culture here, as well as the school, thrives on successful alumni who graciously contribute to their alma mater.

FIU is pleasant, has a good learning environment in classes, has fun extracurricular activities to do, with a great location considering any off campus facilities you may need, but is overrun by hispanics as is the rest of Miami, allowing little to no diversity.

Overall, FIU is an exceptional university with a great environment to study and meet new people.

Florida International University inspires individuals from High School and continues to motivate students once they become a part of such a respected, diverse, and successful University; that for the most part is like your home away from home, where the student body and faculty become your second family and provide you with the foundation and knowledge that we as students seek.

It is a great school for some majors, but extremely weak for others and most people that attend the university are not very career driven.

A diverse blend of cultures and commuter students. There's a great population of Caribbean and Hispanic students, so it's very fun. Weekends are dead on campus, but it's Miami! The city is ripe for exploring.

Florida International University is big and beautiful! There are artworks displayed all around campus, a lot of unique architecture, and plants all over campus. There are conservation areas, restaurants, recreational areas, parking, academic buildings, university centers and so much more.The FIU environment is kept neat and clean.

My is very diverse in the make up of its student body.
