What's the most frustrating thing about Florida Institute of Technology?

nathaniel

The school dosen't listen to the students. If a treacher is a bad teacher and students complain nothing happens to the teacher but the student could get punished for it. An example is if the teacher found out you were trying to get them fired.

Brittany

My school makes very bad decisions about how they spend our money.

David

The cost is the most frustrating thing about Florida Tech. Unless they live nearby, the school require freshmen and sophmores to live on campus and buy a meal plan. the cheapest housing is $2,440, and the meal plans that we can choose are both also another $2,440. WHile the meal plans are worth the cost, the resident halls are not. You get 1 bed, desk, and closet, and you have to share a restroom with 9 other students.

The acedemic advisors try to be helpful, but they don't always seem to know what they are talking about. Also, they will push for you to take classes that they teach or that interest them rather than interest the student. You can end up taking the classes that you want to take, it is just annoying to deal with them in order to allow you to register.

The cost is the most frustrating thing about my school. It's a great school, and I wouldn't choose any other school in a million years, but it's expensive.

James

Registration Process, Course Catalog and Availability. COST!

Casey

I have a hard time understanding some of my professors because there are many that don't speak english clearly, therefore I have to learn almost all course material on my own, which can become frusterating.

Sapphire

The course work is good, but it's very time consuming.

our student government is a joke and they pretend like they have power, but they only have control over the most useless things like which email service provider we use or WHERE the next big waste of money should be put (not WHAT). students really have little control of their own campus: frats and sororites probably have the biggest pull, and I'm in one, but it's really not my thing...
