I personally would have rather known more about the city of Grand Rapids. Although it is a great city, I am more of a nature girl. I would have rather been more exposed to nature. However, if i had known the lack of nature found within the city here, there is a very high chance I still would have came to Kendall. I am very happy I chose Kendall regardless of the lack of nature. It is worth it in the long run.

I go to Kendall College of Art and Desighn which is owned by Ferris and was the closest i could answer. Kendall is a wonderful experiance for all students serious about an art career. The professors are exreamly knowlageable. Ferris is very helpful as wellif there are classes that Kendall does not offer. You are regestered as a Ferris student and are at liberty to use their recorces. So it's like having the recorces of two different colleges at your disposal.

Honestly, before attending this school I was well educated and familiar with it. The faculty and staff also prepared me well about it. I was shown and given maps for places to eat, live, and buy school supplies, besides the school store. Also, finding off campus housing and navigating the area was very easy and not stressful at all. I was also well aware of the hard work required at this school and what was expected from me as a student from talking to other students and faculty.

I wish that someone would have told me about everything that is offered here on campus. There are so many events and activities going on all the time. My first semester I really had no idea and spent most of my time in my dorm room. I had to find out for myself that there are all kinds of different shows, sports, and activites to do.

Before I came to this school I wish I would have known how competitive the pre-pharmacy program is. There are so many pre-pharmacy students, yet so little space at the actual Pharmacy school. Students would kill to get a better grade than you on something, and it makes it very hard to make friends when everyone is so cut-throat competitive.

What I wish I knew before I came to this school is how to save more money and what I wanted my major to be.

I wish that i had known more about the Structured Learning Assistance classes. I found them to be very helpful and would have liked to take some earlier. I also would have liked to know more about my advising oportunities and internship possibilities. This would be very helpful as i proceed through college and try to find internships. Overall, I felt very informed about Ferris as a whole and i'm happy that I chose it.

I wish I would have known that Ferris was more of a urban type school in the middle of a rural area. When I came to Ferris I thought that it was going to be a smaller close knit school but I was completely wrong, there are a lot of people on campus and nobody is really close knit unless you are involved in an organization, somebody should have told me at orientation that I should be prepared to join an organization. I also wish I would have known there aren't a lot of organizations offered.

Every one gave the don' t party and stay involved speech but the most imprtant thing was never mentioned, time management. To be successful in college you must learn to manage your time otherwise you will not be able to handle having classes and being involved while getting homework done and studying. Time management will keep you from feeling as if college life is too much for you. It will alow you to have fun wile taking care of business. Time management is the one thing I wish I would have learned before going to college.

I was extremely nervous about attending larger class-settings, so I wish that before attending FSU that I knew how easy it would be to change classroom settings and that it is actually fairly condusive to learning.
