Ferris State University Top Questions

The most frustrating thing about my school is how most of the events that take place are centered around fraternities and sororities. That is the main focus of the events that take place throughout the week as well as on the weekends. Its difficult when students such as myself are not part of such group.

Communication between teachers ans students is not fast.

The lack of parking and the internet connection

The MOST frustrating, would be the fact that Kendall College of Art and Design doesnt have any dorms availible for their students. There is an apartment building near by for only college students but it is still difficult explaining why you dont live in a dorm to everybody.

Since the school is located downtown Grand Rapids, there is no parking. Ever.

I go to Kendall College of Art and Design, which is part of Ferris. Everyone studies similar fields, so it's hard to meet people that aren't studying art and design. It is awesome and frustrating all at the same time. Sometimes I wish there were people in different fields so I could get a fresh take on my projects.

The limited building hours, the small library and it's limited hours, and affording the school.

The most frustrating thing I would say about ferris is the management of the facility. They take a long time to get things done and they are inefficient with their money. They are currently upgrading a facility that is already a great place instread of upgrading say the computers in the engineering department to be able to hold the cad programs we use with them crashing all the time.
