Well, on the practical side, do all your shopping for clothes the summer before, or maybe two summers. Since college is never really a settled state, and you are always in transition, you will need to have quality clothes that will last you for at least two years. Pack light. Get rid of clothes you haven't worn in 4 months. Also, buy cheap when you can. The college student is proverbially poor, and you will be no exception. Don't spend money you don't need to spend...it will come in handy down the road. On the more mental, spiritual side, don't get caught up in the drama! Life is worth living, ALWAYS
