Bottom line--do I regret coming to Emerson College? I do. I'm from Colorado and I feel like coming to this school was way big of a change. I miss the mountains and the nature and the people who are free-minded with optimistic view of life. However, if you are looking for a city life, meeting new people every day, and just concentrating on your major, Emerson is a perfect fit for you. Good night, and good luck.

Emerson is a great place to be. Of course it has some problems, every school does. But I'm so happy here. All I can do is rave about this place because when you're at the right school you just know it. I've found friends and a major that I'm happy with and a terrific city, and those are the best things about any school. I would recommend highly that ANYONE interested in communications or the arts take a look at Emerson, you won't regret it.

Though not the school for you if you're looking for a huge party school. Kids take their classes pretty seriously, but after that everyone's always having a good time.

Some of the professors (esp. in theater) are intimidating, but don't let that get to you - they want to help. And be sure to get a T pass - it will come in handy.

If you are a slacker, stoner, overly liberal, hipster scene kid, then you will fit right in at Emerson. Also, don't forget to bring along your self-righteousness and selfishness.

emerson is just a very nice school and i loved it right away, we have two studios and you c an always make an appointment to learn to use the equipment.

EMERSON LOVES POT. its a fact that has been written and is known to the world. Emerson loves the greenery.
Night life emersn rocks. everyone is chill, and loves to party and those who dont drink or dont do other stuff are still cool to hang out, so if you are staight edge, dont hate, you can still have a good time. If you are into bars you are in luck, Boston is one huge college bar, if you are under 21 and into bars youre fucked, Boston takes pride in stealing fakes. If you are into clubs, than Emerson is for you, there are tons of clubs that are around and some on campus, the best clubs in boston are all within a 5 minute walk of emerson. this also creates a rather hysterical late night scene on the streets of campus. like one million euro trash paris hilton and my new hair cut types just being rediculous.
i prefer house parties which Alston is great for and are a ton of fun, full of beer pong, kegs, and a guaranteed good time.
Come to emerson, i recommend it.
