If you're looking for a party school, Embry Riddle isn't the school for you. Im an honest college student, and I can admit that having fun is an important part of the college experience. Everyone wants to have a good time at college and drink and adhere to the college stereotype; to a certian point, I don't think that's a problem. Embry-Riddle is very uptight, and most of the jobs you'll get from this college are in the government or the aviation industry. Embry-Riddle is a serious school.

A person that should not attend Embry Riddle is someone that is not sure about what they want to do. Embry Riddle consist of really specialized fields which from day one get you started on what you may be doing in the future. If you are not passionate about any of the majors that offered there and are just doing because you do not know what else you want to do then you will not do good at the school. There you need to have a real passion for what you are learning and doing for you to succeed there.

There are also various organizations and jobs looking for students from this college so there is some of the worlds top dependable and briliant minds attending this school, no matter what the major they are heading towards.

People who cheat to get ahead because our mistakes can hurt many poeple if you dont know what your doing when your hired, if you are not open to understand other people's culture or religion because there are people from litterally every corner of the earth here, and finally people who are over critical about school sponsored events because this school has countless events and programs for students to attend and enjoy.

Don't waste your money like me, commit 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} to your studies and to the industry that you want to be a part of. That is precisely what I did when I went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for Aerospace Engineering. I spent five years at Cal Poly only to come out with a 2.99 G.P.A. It doesn’t matter if GPA isn’t an accurate indicator of a person’s work abilities, the companies out there use it. So you need to have a good one in order to get a job in your field.

From campus tours, and talking to students and staff that currently attend the school, the kind of person who should NOT attend this school is someone who is lazy, arrogant, and unfocused. Embry-riddle is a top notch school for aviation enthusiasts, not entirely for people who fly planes but people who want to work on them, be in the environment as them and so on.
