I decided to go to ETSU because that is where I'm originally from and where i wanted to go. I had been there to see the college before and seemed like a good school for me personally to succeed at and get my life back on tract to where i wanted it to be.

When looking at colleges, I knew I wanted to go into a medical field of some type but was not sure whether I wanted to do med school, nursing, PT, or pharmacy. ETSU has all of those so it was a good choice because I could start taking classes and choose whichever I liked knowing that I could complete my education in any of those at ETSU. What sealed the deal however, was my visit to campus including a tour of campus by a student. The girl who gave my tour was awesome and very encouraging and friendly. All of the people I met at the school on that trip were friendly and helpful whether they were advisers, students, or housing staff. I also fell in love with the beautiful campus and surrounding country. I love the mountains and the small town with its farmer's market and bluegrass and storytelling tradition. I have never regretted my decision to come here and would consider living and working here once I finish school.
