That it's so big. Freshman probably feel overwhelmed and lost, but hopefully there's been some advancements in including them in events and groups right away.

When I attended ETSU, the only real frustration I had was parking on the campus. It was oftentimes difficult to find a parking spot close the the building you needed to visit and I would get annoyed by that. However, I know the college has been working to improve this situation.

The most frustrating thing about ETSU is the lack of support for the athletic department. ETSU has been known to be a commuting school with only 3,000 out of 15,000 living on campus, which makes it difficult to get students to come out and watch athletic events. While are teams are not great, they still need the support of students and fans to grow into a school that in the future could be known for not only its medical and business programs, but athletics as well.

Once the first morning set of classes has started parking begins to get difficult. Most of the time for classes after about 9 am you have to walk kind of far to get to class. Housing within walking distance of campus is really expensive, but there is plenty of affordable housing relatively close by. I suggest that new freshman (lucky you) park on campus and live on campus to avoid the morning parking lot issue. There is parking right next to the brand new dorms which is filled most of the time monday thru friday by students in the dorms.

The most frustrating thing about my school is that the information one might be looking for is hard to find. In the administrative office, graduate students work most of the jobs - and they do not know what they are doing. To get the information needed, a person may have to talk to 10 people before finally recieving what one is looking for.

The most frustrating thing about my school is that it is often hard to get direct answers for questions. You are often asked to see person after person before finding the answer that you need.

The only thing that i can really think about is that sometimes the offices are really slow as far as getting back to you on housing or financial aid information. I also wish that the Dental Hygiene program would expand and except a class each semester instead of just yearly.

I am a 56 year old non traditional student going back to college to finish my B.S. degree. My advice to other students would be to stay in college and finish no matter! There are so many options with financial aid to help you stay in school. Go to night classes if you have to. Don't find yourself middle aged with no education to speak of making not much more than minimum wage. Again, STAY IN SCHOOL! You want to be able to support yourself. There is no frustration about any school that cannot be overcome.

Some of the student workers. If they are going to be in a position to help other students they need to do just that. Some of the student workers are there just to pass time and collect a paycheck and it reflects in there work. They have absolutely no clue as to customer service and work ethic. If they are going to be helping other students they need to help and be courteous about it. They need to get the ipod earplugs out of there ears and get busy doing the work the had been hired to do.

At times, the school can be slow about emailing you back on extremely important questions.
