East Carolina University Top Questions

When I was choosing a school, I knew I wanted to go south (I'm from PA). My mother set the limit at North Carolina, so of course I then limited my search to that state and compiled a list of the top public universities in North Carolina. I'm a firm believer that you will just know on some deep level--bear with me here--that you are in the right place for college, and you'll feel it when you step foot on campus. I fell in love with ECU when I visited, and that sealed the deal. I visited other schools afterward, but I already knew I had found the place for me!

I came to ECU because I wanted to be an Athletic Trainer. East Carolina has one of the best athletic training programs in the country and I did athletic training in high school so I figured I'd love it.

I decided to attend East Carolina University because the tuition was bearable for my family to pay.

I chose to come here because it is one of the best schools for my major. I am an Adaptive and General Special Education major with Elementary add-on, and East Carolina has a great Education program here, especially for Special Education. I also loved the atmosphere here and the beautiful campus. I visited on a rainy day and thought if it looks this beautiful when it is raining I can only imagine how beautiful it is on a sunny day, and knew that I would be really happy here. I am very happy that I chose this school because I absolutely love it here and can not picture myself being at any other school!
