Drake University Top Questions

When I brag about my school, I brag about the Drake Relays, but more importantly, the quality of the people that attend Drake. I have never before been surrounded by such motivated, genuine, like-minded individuals. I am proud to attend the same school as every single one of them. On top of being kind individuals, they are all intelligent and have worked for everything that they have accomplished. Everyone is involved on the campus, so it is easy to make great friends.

When I tell my friends about my school, I tell them more about the pharmacy program I am enrolled in. I tell them how it is a 6-year program that I will be completing in 5 years and how it is possible to graduate with both a Doctor in Pharmacy and an MBA.

My school provides an exceptional learning environment that prepares students for meaningful personal lives, professional accomplishments, and responsible global citizenship. The Drake experience is distiguished by collabrative learning among students, faculty, and staff, and by integration of liberal arts and sciences with professional preparation.

The feeling I get on campus is the most important thing about this school to me. It's sometimes hard to describe, but I can compare it being home. It seems totally comfortable to me, from the first day I set foot on the campus. It feels as though I belong here, and the school welcomes people from many various lifestyles in the same way it welcomed me. I think that is awesome, and always take pride in the comfort Drake seems to provide to everyone, regardless of their differences.

How small the classes are, how much attention teachers give you, and how well your classes prepare you for your job - the internships are awesome, too.
