For a smaller university, the beauty of the campus could compete with some of the most extravagant in the U.S. It has a charming and tranquil feel as a religion-based institution located in a lovely and historical city just outside of Chicago.

First I tell them about the music department and how amazing it is. All of the groups record a CD every year and they go on tour in May around the United States. Then I brag about the food. It's just like a buffet but better. You can make a waffle any time you want. They have 8 different kinds of cereal at all times. It's a great place to get full.

I loved the size of our classes. The normal size of my classes was about 12 students, with the biggest being only 35 students. This allowed for great discussions/debates in class. It also encouraged all students to participate. Professors are also very acessiable. They have convenient office hours and are on campus most for the majority of the week. Students are not just a number to professors at Dominican. Professors go out of their way to get to know their students. They attend student plays, sports games, on campus social events.
