Academic advisor is great. Much more helper than my last college.

Its unique because of the students. The students here are very open and close. Everyone knows everyone; we are there for each other when we need each other. I've talked to other friends of mine who go to big schools and they don't communicate as much with their fellow classmates.

Although Dominican is small, it offers many advantages that larger universities lack. For example, the classroom size is small and therefore the teacher can assess your work better and will be able to help you individually. My school has no fraternities and sororities which help place more emphasis on academic work rather than social. My school offers many campus activities and any student is able to make their own club. In addition, Dominican is friendly, open, safe, accessible by public transportation, and does not reside in a busy city area.

The school I chose was much smaller than the other ones I had considered. My mom and my aunt went there. They offer Italian as a major.
