Del Mar College Top Questions

I think the worse thing about my school are the workers who work in the financial aid office. I feel like most of them don't really want to help the students, they seem to always want to send you to other places like the admissions office or the cash office, so they can help you instead. I always have trouble with my money when it's suppose to come in, and I always have to either solve the whole problem alone or wait it out. I just wish they would help the students more and look happy.

The worst thing has to be Dr. Kuykendal, one of the math instructors, avoid him. Other than him, the student events that took place in the Harvin Center became aggrivating, I would prefer not to listen to Guitar Hero played rather poorly while I try to study.

The worst attribute that I believe that Del mar College conists of is that the individuals that work here are very lazy when it comes to helping the students with anything they need. The Financial aid office that is located on campus is very slow and the workers tend to do their own thing and just try to brush off the students as fast as possible. The workers do the "work" and the students know that they do not have alot of experience of what needs to be done for the students.

Although there are not what I consider "worse things" about Del Mar, there might be some inconviences. One inconvience is perhaps the distance. It take gas to get there from my house and to make matters worse is the fact that they charge more as far as tuition if you are out of district. DOesn't make sence to me but hopefully this scholarship will help.

Its not a four year college, so you can only get your associates. Which isn't bad, but for people who can't move out of the city to go to a college best suited for their degree its hard for them to further their education.

My college experiece I would say that the certin times they have labs at. I'm no longer allowed to go to band class due to my labs running right through the band time.
