Connecticut College Top Questions

What kind of person should not attend Connecticut College?

Ciara

Connecticut College is an amazing school, though often individuals may see it as unattainable or inaccessible due to its annual cost to attend. The comprehensive fee for the 2014-2015 school year is listed as $60,895, and for many individuals, including myself, this is simply not doable without financial aid. Furthermore, it is simply not possible for the college to grant each accepted individual the amount of aid that they need to be able to comfortable afford tuition, especially as the school does not award merit-based scholarships. I only wish that there was more money available for students.

People seeking a diverse atmosphere or a large atmosphere would not enjoy Conn. Also although the arts program seems to be strong and influential, it is very small compared to other programs at the school.

The kind of person who doesnt want to be active in the community, doesnt want to play a sport/ be physically active, and is anti-social altogether. My school is always encouraging people to get involved in the outside community or in school.

The professors at this school depend on the students' eagerness to learn. If someone is not motivated or solely depends on the enthusiasm of the professor and on the information solely offered in class in order to learn, this is not the place for you. Also, if you are into sororities or big school spirit events, this is not the place for you either.

People that are snobby and don't like diversity are not welcome. You need to be accepting and motivated.
