Conn's not bad the first two years. But then the scene starts to get old. But that is countered with the thought of getting out of there. So it balances out.

THis school is too small. I think if it doubled in size it would be a nice sized school. However, the faculty to student ratio is nice and that's something that's definitely highlighted at my school. Students definitely need to drink less as well, because i feel alcoholism is a big thing at this school. I also wish we were closer to a town area, that we didn't have to rely on transportation to get to downtown new london. However, the campus is gorogeous, and i guess with it being somewhat far from the town it keeps its campus feel to it. I feel right now that the administration at my school is disorganized, mainly because many changes are as of right now being put into place.

Everyone at conn is very friendly and happy. People are always smiling, nomatter what they are doing.

Conn is one of the friendliest colleges on the east coast. The student body was certainly one of the biggest pulls for me when choosing the right school. At Conn, we have a tight network between students and everyone knows everyone else in some capacity. Not only is our school small in size, but students are invested in one another and they form connections within the classroom, sports teams and clubs.
WE dont live right next to a big city, so kids tend to centralize their social lives around campus events. Yes, you'll find the typical weekend parties with drinking, etc., but most of the social life is created with the incentive of hanging out with friends.
Sometimes I feel like I am living in the "Conn bubble", but I would have it no other way. Never again in my life will I have the opportunity to live in a fun, academic environment with people who are doing the exact same thing as me. I think it only fosters a more cohesive community and stronger academics.

An amazing small liberal arts school where one can really explore all facits of college life in search of discovering what they want to do after college. Their are so many oppurtunities here for people to be involved in all aspects of the daily life and the faculty and administration are so supportive.

a little small - everyone knows everyone's business, not many new people to meet on the weekends etc; isolated and sheltered - difficult to get off campus if you don't have a car and not the best college town except for the beach close by, near to amtrak/greyhound, good restaurants; similar to my hometown in that everyone is upper middle class and there is not a lot of diversity; nice people and friendly, intelligent professors; beautiful campus with arboretum; school spirit - a lot of people go to athletic events; nice dormitories; best thing about conn is the friends i've made here and the opportunities presented to me for later in life

The Best thing about conn is the campus. When it is not too cold for my Mid Atlantic blood it is a beautiful place with sprawling greens and is kept very nicely. I would change the cost of Connecticut College if I could first and foremost and second the town. New London is an almost dead town with very little opportunity for college students.

For me, this size of school is just right and the location is perfect. When I tell people that I am from Conn College, they think that I mean UConn which is completely different. I spend most of my time on campus and I think that the administration is very good here at Conn. There is a lot of school pride and we are all very proud of our athletic teams. An unusual thing about Conn is that there is no football team or baseball team.

Our school is what you make of it. Because we have a lot of money, we have lots of opportunities. As long as students take advantage of the opportunities, they will like the school. But if they don't they will just be apathetic and unhappy.

Conn is a great size! I love that we are a close-nit community but that there are lots of students that I have never met before. I meet new people at all the events I go to and clubs I join but never feel like I am wandering around in a sea of strangers on campus. It is great to bump into friends on my way to class or in the dining hall.
Our college president is the man! President Higdon just came here last year and has already done a great job of meeting students, faculty, and staff and finding out what our priorities for the campus are. With renovations of dorms, classrooms, and the gym under way he is also raising money to fund the continued betterment of the campus.
The camel is our mascot... which is unique and AWESOME!
