Connecticut College Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about Connecticut College? Why?

Alexander

The endowment...for such a prestigious school with so many successful people, the endowment should be larger.

I would say that Conn's most negtive quality is the pervasive drinking culture. Although there are lots of scheduled events on campus (concerts, dances, movie screenings, ect), the overall social atmosphere suffers because of the rampant drinking. That took a lot of getting used to when I first came to Conn. There are some majors that are really disappointing here. The music and theater departments are lack-luster and I've heard that Conn is not right for pre-med or neuroscience. The administration can be very stubborn, and has some crappy policies that are hard to get around.
