Classes are usually small. I have had classes that average around 20-30 and one lecture class that had 60-70.

Classes are smaller than most colleges, I really like it though. Professors really do care about you and work with you to succeed at the college. It's nice walking into a professor's office and they know you by name and what class you're in. The business school is very helpful, but I hate that it takes forever to finish classes and be able to declare your major.

My favorite class this semester was Intro to Acting, THTR 277 with Brent Laing. It's the most fun I've ever had in class.

Most of the classes I have taken are small enough where student participation is very important

Some very good professors here. It is a school getting better and better in academics each year. Many of my classes have been quite small, less than 15 or 20. However, you generally need to find the right people to have an intellectual conversation with, not everyone is good for that here.

Classes can be as easy or as hard as you make them, you can slack off and get decent grades but it is easy to challenge yourself by taking difficult classes or just striving for the best grades.

I feel like our school is very challenging and students put alot of effort into their work. Alot of students here are very intelligent. I, personally never skip class because many teachers take attendence and that helps your grade. And if you do skip class often, you'll fail which is unlike the larger universities.

Academics are good. My classes have been well balanced and I haven't had any impossible ones, although Calculus has definitely been a challenge. Class participation is common. The classes aren't enormous like at some of the larger schools, which is nice. Some people hate the general education requirements, but I think they really do help to make us more well rounded. Gen ed requirements can be a pain, but they're not as bad as people make them out to be. They're not typically very hard.

the academic atmosphere at our school is somewhat relaxed. teachers are very helpful and willing to give you advice on your future careers. I think the school is somewhat geared towards getting a job, rather than learning for learning's sake, but this is a good thing since that's basically the purpose of college.

School is very important and all classes even electives are rigorous.
