I would have to say the worst thing about Claflin is that most students live up to the standards of those around them instead of being themselves. Almost eighty-five percent of the campus are part of fraternities or sororities. Also students that are not part of the honors college program are looked at and treated differently from those who are in honors college. The attention that is given to honors students and foreign exchange students are well above that which is given to regular students.

The worst thing about my school is the location. It is in the city of Orangeburg, the most exciting thing here is the Wal-Mart. Every name brand, label-having store is about 45 minutes up the highway. It is very irritating being a freshman without a car, with only upperclassmen to rely on to get from point A to B off of campus.

Johnny

I believe the worst thing about my school honestly is the lack of nutrious foods in the cafeteria. Yes, they do have a salad bar, but one healthy choice verses about three or four unhealthy ones always loses in the eyes of a young adult, especially one who is out on their own for the first tme. Unlimited pizza, burgers, tacos and nachos are a teenager's wildest dream, but at the end of the year that "freshman 15" catches up to you. If Claflin had healthier choices, it would make their school a lot better.

Tynetta

Not alot to do out side of school offered groups.

The worst thing about Claflin would be the cost. I come from a very low-income single family and it is not so easy to make ends meet every year. The books are expensive as well as tuition. I wish I could have more money that will make my next year flow a little bit better than last year.

Ana

If you take classes anywhere else but Claflin you can only gt the credit not the grade...

Kendrick

The worst thing is that my school is private, so it cause much money to attend than a private school.

Stephanie

Not a very college friendly town. Not very diverse. Expensive.

The worst thing about my school is the fact that it is such a leader in scientific research but the facilities and equipment for the students are so out of date and just worn that some students are unable to appreciate what the sciences are really about.
