Describe the students at Central Michigan University.

Jordon

I would say most people at CMU feel comfortable here, I know I do.

Devin

I don't think any student would feel out of place at Central, their are enough groups for everybody to fit in. Most students wear sweatpants and a hoodie to class. I noticed that a lot of people at Central come from well developed families and have most if not all of their college paid for.

Dawson

diverse. lots of crazy people, lots of sweet people, and a bunch of people in between.

Angela

I don't think that any student would feel out of place at Central Michigan. Students wear everything from sweat pants and hoodies to professional dress. I think most Central Michigan students are from the middle areas of Michigan.

Andy

Central always has a variety of extra-curricular events to go to. It is very easy to find something you like and get involved. To class most students wear jeans, tees, hoodies, and coats. There is a ton of school spirit and Greek pride so you will see a lot of that. There is not segregation in the dinning halls. There are always lots of people together. Most students are from south east Michigan (Detroit area).

Cassie

Overall, Central is a pretty open environment allowing students to be who they are. There is a wide range of students, yet the majority are white middle class students.

I think that the way students dress to class is split some people get ready and dress preppy to class and others wear sweat pants, there are some that have there own personal style. i really dont think that any type of person would feel out of placeon campus, i think that CMU does a good job of trying to make all people have something to do of interest or belief.

Cara

AWESOME. super friendly and motivated.

Monica

Different races don't really seem to mingle very much on campus, which is unfortunate.
