I wish i had known how much of a commuter school it was but everything else is perfectly fine. There are a lot of ways to get involved so the only problem is that not many people actually stay there.

I was very familiar with CCSU because I have many friends that come here. You can't possibly know everything about a school before attending, otherwise it would not be an adventure. Part of going to college is to experience new adventures and not knowing absolutely everything about the school is part of the adventure.

Before I came to this school, I wish I knew which degree program I wanted to be in. I made the mistake of going to a community college and transfering to go to CCSU. Then, after failing the first semester, I transfered back to the community college that I originally attended. Now I am back at CCSU and it just feels like I have been going to college forever and I am not getting anywhere.

I wish I had known that this school would not help me stay on track with my degree. My academic advisors only led me around in circles, didn't help to make sure I took necessary classes, and when I asked questions, the most prevalent answer was "I don't know". The Advisors did not do anything to help find any answers when they didn't have them either.

I wish I had been a bit better prepared as far as what would be expected of me regarding my major. I didn't even know until my third semester that I needed to have a minor! I'm a Secondary Education major, and I though English was my minor rather than a concentration!
