Central College Top Questions

Central College is a school with many different opportunities that present themselves as soon as you walk onto campus. There are outlets for all types of people, whether you are an artist, athlete, scientist, or just somebody looking to get involved in the community. You are given the opportunity to study abroad in a country of your choice and are encouraged to broaden your horizons by faculty and students alike. This all being said, the only person that I feel would not benifit from a Central education is a person that is uninvolved and set in there ways as thus.

Central College is a very closeknit school. It has a very comforting, homely feel to it. The people that shouldn't attend Central are the people that need excitement every single night. Central had fun things to do but it's not parties every night or huge clubs in town. The people that usually leave are the people that like the bigger city life instead of the small town feel.

The kind of person that should not attend Central College is the kind of person who does not want to grow as a student and as a member of society. Central helps mold people into happy, healthy, and successful human beings. If you are not interested in reaching your full potential in an amazing environment, then Central College is not for you.

While looking to attend Central College, you need to be open minded and out-going. It is a small campus, and it is very easy to make new friends. But in order to do so, you must learn to let go of your high school self, and get past the drama. Cliques aren't important here. The minute that you step on campus you get a warm, home like feeling because every fellow student and professor is right there to help you go somewhere in life. You must be willing to accept that you arent that different from others.

Someone who does not really care about the atmosphere of the colllege or about having a real "college experience". Central is focused on academics but also on the social growing of their students. If the student is only looking to get a degree then Central is not necessarily the best place for them. Central is also smaller, it has alot to offer, but does not have some of the great opportunities that another bigger college might not have. Other colleges may have more specific or specialized majors for a student.

A person who doesn't like to get involved shouldn't attend this school, or someone who isn't willing to do homework for an A. Grading here is challenging and you really have to work and participate. You can't just sit in the back of the class and stare at the ceiling and expect to get a good grade.

Anyone should come to Central. It is a great school that appeals to all personality types. There is something for everyone.

Central College is a liberal arts school that encourages all around learning, so if someone only wants to focus on their field of study Central may not be for them. Also people who are looking for a big party school should not come to Central. Cental has a dry campus policy and there is not a large club scene in town.

This school is not a place for the partiers, students must work hard to pass classes and stay in school. With most students being athletes, often it will be hard to find a party anyways. The classes are hard enough that drinking full time and going to class and passing is impossible. Don't come to party, come for school, I've watched too many freshman classes come in with many students who all drop out because they try to party hard. Come to learn.

A person that shouldn't attend this school is one that isn't motivated and who isn't willing to work hard. Don't expect huge entertainment in Pella you have to find your own fun and things to do.
