If I had known what I currently know now I would definitely apply for as many scholarships as possible. Every little bit counts! No matter how big or small the scholarship is you should apply for it. It's free money take advantage of it! Also I would have been saving up every penny and dime I owned. Finding out late that my parents could provide no help for my college was a rude awakening and I wish i had had more time to prep for that. I wish I had committed to a college sooner for baseball so I could figure out what I should major in as well as get everything settled and ready for when my fall semester starts in August. It would have made this process a whole lot less stressful. Time is everything. You cannot take back time and you only have a limited amount of it. 24 hours in a day, 7 days a week, 12 months in a year is all you get. Take every moment to strive to be more successful would be my advice. I would have motivated myself a lot more when it came to finding a college and committing.

If i could go back in time to talk to my high school senior self, I will tell myself not to blow off easy classes. The main thing that I learned throughout this process and transition is that high school is completely different from college. Professors are not going to give easy points; they are not going to take it easy on us 'poor high school students'. Being in an early college high school has taught me the esscence of maturity. Professors expect the best out of their students. They will give ample opportunities for students to excel. The students who do wonders and greatness are the ones who take pride in theirselves and take each class like it is a neccessity and of importance. College challenges the mind and the maturity of college students. All I can say is 'buckle up, and get ready for the ride'!

Stop being so lazy. Start applying for scholarships, they aren't as hard as you think.

If I could go back to my senior year in high school I would have first, stayed the entire year in high school so I could actually have the senior experience. I graduated a semester early and started college too soon. If I would have stayed in high school I could have experience, prom night with my friends and also participated in other senior related activites. I had to leave early for myself so that I could continue with school but also to help my mother with bills since she was he only person working in the household. Besides theses points I am actually glad that I graduated early so I could help my mother with bills.

If I could go back in time and tell myself as a high school senior what college was like, I would have much to say. First, I would tell myself that college isn't the 13th grade. Just because I made it through tweleve years of school doesn't mean I am so prepared that I can slack off like I could of done in high school. College demands at least two hours of study time outside of class per hour of when you are in class. The more time you study for a class, the higher the grade. Second I would tell myself to take advantage of the tutoring center and my professor's office hours. One great thing about college is that there are many people willing to help you, and those people can be very helpful and useful. So, if while studying there is something I don't fully understand, I should go to the tutoring center, studying with a fellow student, or go to my professor's office and ask them personally. College gives us many opportunities to succeed, and it takes time for success to come.

I would have told my self that I should do dual credit at the community college down the street so I can recieve college credits. Then I would have told myself to got to the community college instead of the technical school that I had intented and dropped out because that's not what I wanted to do. I could have taken the same classes and got the same degree at a community college for $50,000 cheaper. I dont know what I was thinking but I wish somebody would have told me.

If I could go back in time, I would intently encourage myself to visit the campus of the school that I planned to attend. I would recommend spending more time on campus talking to the students while learning about the benefits of attending that school from a student's perspective. Visiting with the counselors and advisors before enrolling in classes to get a sense of how the staff and faculty response to the incoming students would be another suggestion to myself. Asking questions would be recommended, i.e. are they open to inquiring minds or are they excited about their school? In addition, I would look for information from the counselors which I have not ask from them--their passion. I would tell myself to be aggressive in knowing all that I can about the school, and intently plan to spend at least 20 hours a week studying. And finally, I would tell myself that my future success is in my hands so I must give 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} to learning all that I can.

Whatever you do, stay focused on your goals. Each decision you make daily effects your future. Study hard and stay spiritually inclined. There will be some tough times but, it's not the end of the world. Tomorrow is a new day, and you can start over. Prioritize, and always remember your education is the most importanat thing. It's something that no one can take away from you. At last but not least, seek to find your place in the world. Whatever that is, strive to be the best.

As a second year student in college I have had many great experiences in college. I've met new people,learned new things, and grow alot as a person as well. I fell that i have matured greatlyas a student and as a person. If I could go back and talk to myself as a high school senior, there would be severalthings to talk about. The main focus would be to stress that school work is very important. Your first year away from home is very new and it is easy to get away from study habits that you may have had in high school. Dont let your grades slip because it is very easy to ignore your work without your parents there to guide you. Also pick a major that you will love and not a major that othes want you to pursue. Be happy with you decision and dont let others influence you. Your major decides your future line of work. Lastly, be happy with you roommate. You have to live with this person so keep disagreements light. It is not fun to live with someone that you hate.
