The school is a big irish catholic school so rugby is a huge sport, as is st. patricks day. there is a fair amount of drinking by students but it isn't something that everyone does or is pressured to do. community service and volunteering is big here. A lot of students take a year off after to do service (peace corps, teach for america, other catholic service missions).
