That sometimes taking a break but returning whenthe time is right makes the experience worth it. Feeling no pressure makes the experience easier to deal with and able to produce good grades allows me to stay positive. I like the idea of furthering my education but the costs limit what the future will bring.
Thank you for your consideration,
Michael Rank

I have learned so much from my college experience! I have brushed up on all my basic school skills, learned time management, learned how to be a better communicator, and so much more. Each day I am getting closer and closer to my goal of making a better life for my family, and the opportunity to help others. I think college has been a wonderful experience for me, and has given me much more than I expected!

Resposibility, loyalty, respect and fast thinking. The college experience is something that cannot be forgotten. The mission statement of the university reflects on the value of the university. I am the first family member to go into a Master's degree program. Education is very important to me, I have grown up with a single parent , my mother who she taught me the value of life and way of thinking to move forward in life. It is valuable to attend school and continue your education because no other can take that knowledge away from you. Everyone makes decesion in life, everyday everyone makes decesion. Education should be a top priority. When you start makins decsions and adding other activities on top of education the priority of education falls and you add other activities as your priority. I have learned that education should be on top of the priority list and you should never let it fall down.

My college experience has become the central focus of my life, as I have been a full-time student for the past few months. It has been a difficult journey returning to school at my age, especially while working at a full-time career that is also competing for my time and energy. I have learned so much during my journey and I would not replace it for anything. I thought that an online University would be "walk in the park" but I found that to be incorrect. I currently attend Capella University as an Information Technology major and I find it much more difficult than traditonal schools. The major difference is the level of learning and the high-demand this school puts on each student. Although it can be frustrating, I am actually very pleased with my college experience, simply because I am paying straight out of my pocket and I feel that I am getting every penny's worth. I know that I am being educated and that it will payoff n the future.

It is a new generation type of school: on-line university. So, by attending this school I personally think that I invest into the progress of our communities. Capella University gave me an opportunity to study in United States in a very convenient way, when traditional schools turned their back on me.
Also, this school is very supportive and has well organized courses that already taught me many new ideas, thoughts, and skills that I will most likely to use in my future carrier as a Project Manager. The fact that most of my peers are people with senior level of work experience helps me to learn and understand from them the real working world.

I am still in the process of enrolling in the university. My classes do not begin until August 9,2010.

Throughout my college experience, I have had the priveledge of getting a great education and experience so far. I switched from a 2 year technical college to an accrediated on-line college to finish off my bachelor's degree on-line. I feel as if the on-line school gives me more time at home with my 8 year old daughter. I am a single working mother just trying to finish my education in the criminal justice field. Capella University has helpful staff always ready answer any questions that I may have. I couldn't ask for a better experience when switching colleges. Not to mention the amount of my credits that have transferred were extremely helpful when finishing up my degree. I will start my first class in about three weeks and everything I have been worried about is no longer a concern of mine. I am feeling confident and ready to tackle any task at hand.

My college experience thus far has opened my eyes to the absolute importance of education. After twenty years, one tends to forget. I am currently enrolled in online classes at Kaplan university. I realize that education opens up an entirely different world filled with endless possibilities. I can barely contain my excitement in being chosen, as a student. I would like an opportunity to convince other uneducated adults and teenagers , just starting out, of this fact! The only way, to ever rise above your situation and do better, is through education. (Mom was right!) I am a single mother of three, I live in a tiny town and I recieve social security disability. I now understand, by attaining a college education, I can possitivly affect my life, my children's and everyone else's around me! To live is to learn.

During my time in college, I have found more of a drive within myself to keep moving forward and to have a career in the pharmaceutical business. I am confident that I will be able to provide great service and learn new material quickly. I love learning more about science and the medical profusion. I feel that I can help people by working in a pharmacy. I have some nervous damage in my hands that can cause them to shake when I’m nervous or some times when I just over use them. So I can not become a nurse for fear of stabbing some one with a needle. I can still help people be working in the medical field and I find natural cures to also be fascination. Maybe one day I will discover a medical drug to help people. I also seem to have a natural ability of organizing and motivating people toward achievement a goal. My goals objectivity allows me to develop procedures or regulations that take care of present and future situations. I know have a strong work ethic, and desire structure, schedule, and order because of my time in collage.

This is my first semester at Capella University and so far it has been very promising. The courses itself provides constant thinking and helpful in a manager position. Also, the teacher's are helpful with any questions and answer in less than 24 hrs depending on the time zone. There is a lot of class interactions with peers. All in all the experience has been very gratifying and beneficial.
