The people. Hands down.

I love the emphasis placed on their arts and communications programs. Most schools are really athletics-oriented and direct most of their funds in that direction, but CSUN dedicates an absurd amount of resources and attention towards the more creative pursuits on campus. My major is Screenwriting, so obviously, that suits me fine. They are rumored to have the third best Screenwriting program in America, after UCLA and USC. Their reputatuon is well-earned: I've met four professional writers since my sophomore year began, and my skills are sharper than ever. I love creatively nurturing environments, don't you?

The campus jobs in the housing facilities are the best because you meet a lot of people, students and staff. This makes walking through campus quite pleasant; you say hi to everyone, they all know your name and you feel good about yourself and where you are.

I like everything about Cal State Northridge. The best thing would have to be the classes and professors. I learned so much in my first year and all my professors were very helpful. The school is also very diverse and there are many activites on campus that helped me get involved and meet new people.
