CSUN is a large school compared to many other campuses, but one thing I really like is that even though we have so many people we still have pretty small class sizes. The majority of my classes only have about 30 people. One of the most frequent student complaints is parking. Everyone always complains about how it is so hard to find a spot especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays. People don't react in a very positive way when I tell them I go to CSUN. They looked down upon the school, but I have learned to ignore it.

The best thing about CSUN is that the campus is just right. It isn't too large or too small. Being a full-time student and having more than three classes in a day, its convenient to not have to run to the other side of the campus with a 10-minute break in between classes at some point.
One thing I wish CSUN had was a football team. I think the school would have a lot more spirit among the students then it does now. Speaking of a football team, I wish they announced more sport events more largely then they do now. As a sophmore, I have yet to attend at least one of every type of sport event.
As for what people react too when I tell them I go to CSUN... some people are actually interested because sometimes they haven't even heard of it. Other times when people know where and what CSUN is, they're pretty chill about it. One of the stereotypes out here where I live is that CSUN is an easy Cal. State to get into... which I personally think is pretty much true. Yet as I like to say, knowledge is power and if CSUN offers knowledge then I'll definitely take up that opportunity at CSUN through their educational curriculum anyday!

Most people have no idea where CSUN is. I think my school is the perfect size, its not to big or too small, you get a chance to know a lot of people, especially if you are greek, its almost like a close community. The only pride people have is really in the greek system, I wish sports were bigger on campus and more people went to games.

CSUN is a great school, but parts of it are not so great. One thing that I would change is how chosing classes is done. Classes get filled up so quickly and with so many GE requirements, everyone is trying to take the same things all at once.
The dorms are good, but sometimes they post online that you owe money and you don't, or its just for the next month and its posted early.
