When people ask if I enjoy the campus, I respond that it is a "commuter school" a lot of people commute to CSULB from Orange County and Los Angeles so it's a little bit of a different vibe. Almost similar to a larger community college campus.

I would talk to them about how easy it is to meet people who share similar interests as I did, in order to show them that in a school like Cal State Long Beach, loneliness is a choice. Trust me, I am a big gamer but also introverted, so I thought that it would be difficult to get along with people who are more outgoing and adventurous than I am. However, after one semester here, I have been able to make a couple of friends out of mutual interests, as well as the interactivity of the courses offered here.

I tell my friends that my school is really big and that we are so close to the beach, SOOOOO close!

We are one of the largest state universities in California. This means we have a large diversity in the backgrounds of students that you will interface with. Also, they have an excellent Psychology program.

I always say how I was so involved and made so many friends while participating in on-campus activities and 0ff-campus activities. I talk about how everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I talk about how I always have a few friends who I keep in touch after the class semester is over and we only see each other around campus. The campus is that friendly.

My school has a beautiful campus and, though it is large, the exercise is great.

California State University - Long Beach is the highest ranked among other CSUs. We have the biggest campus compared to other CSUs. In Southern California, CSULB has the next highest student population after UCLA. In addition to that, we also have the second biggest campus after UCLA.

Long Beach State is a fascinating school and it has a culture of it's own. The students, faculty, and staff are extremely friendly and supportive. There is something on this campus for everyone. You have your fraternities and sororities, cultural groups, dance teams, sports teams, student government, and most importantly if you are not happy with the organizations out there, you can create your own! Long Beach State is not only a place to achieve academically, but it is also a place to create beautiful memories with lifelong friends. you can call family.

I enjoy the welcoming and intellectual atmosphere of my school. I also love the location of the university, which offers great weather and exciting life in the city of Long Beach, and its proximity to sports, culture, and artistic activities in the Los Angeles area.
