Butte College Top Questions

I wish I had known about assist.org before I enrolled. That would have saved me from taking a couple of classes that weren't necessary for transfer. I wish there was better communication between the counselors from Chico State and Butte to better serve the needs of students.

Becuase a family member helped me with the enrollment process, I did fully understand at the time the tremendous cost savings I would receive as a result of attending Butte College. Now I realize that Butte is one of the few community colleges in the state of California that have student dorms. I was also unaware that I would be imparted the same under division education as my peers at Chico State, all for a fraction of the cost. Had I been more aware of this beforehand I may have been more appreciative in my freshman year.

What reality really is.

It really helps to have a plan of some kind before you go into it, otherwise you end up taking classes that you dont need and wasting time. Having an idea of what you want to do and creating a four-year plan immediately would save you a lot of stress that just going with the flow would cause.
