I absolutely love Butler. From the minute I visited, it felt like the right school for me. You'll hear a lot of students say this, because there is just something about being on campus that makes you feel like this is what college is supposed to be. Butler is a really great size. It's small enough that your professors know you by name, instead of you being just a number like at some big schools. Even though it's small, it's also big enough that you see new people on campus every day. People usually know Butler for basketball, but it's cool to tell them about the other aspects of the school too. There is always something to do, and someone to hang out with. We're lucky to be so close to Broad Ripple (college town w/ restaurants and bars) and downtown Indianapolis. There is so much school pride on campus, especially during basketball season. It's just a great place to be, and I don't regret my decision to go there one bit.

Butler University is a fantastic school filled with many opportunities. I have become very active in many philanthropic organizations helping Riley Hospital, raising money for third world countries, and am very active in a fraternity. Butler is the perfect size, it is not to small, but small enough to where I have always had good relationships with my teachers and been able to see them very often. Butler provides a great social atmosphere with a basketball team that has been one of the most elite teams in the country the past few years. Being five minutes from a eating, social, interactive environment of "Broad Ripple" and fifteen minutes from downtown there is always something to keep you busy.

This school is amazing! The school is small, but it gives you a feel of family and belonging because your teachers and peers know your name. It's so easy to get involved on campus and everyone is encouraged to do so! Butler is sometimes referred to as the Butler Bubble because the students tend to only travel to the College town of Broad Ripple, and other than that we stay on campus.

I love Butler. I really didn't put much thought into my decision to come here, but I am glad I did. The school is perfect for people who are used to a small community or who are looking for a small, tight knit community of people. I always see familiar faces around campus and the students and staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and caring. I love the one on one attention we get with our professors, because the school is small and we have small class sizes.
When I tell people I go to Butler, they tend to have a good reaction and comment on how good of a school it is, which I agree!
We definitely are not your normal "college town" like some of the big universities, but we definitely have our own little community within Butler. This allows me to feel safe and comfortable and like I belong here.
For the most part I do not have any complaints with the schools administration. Obviously, every administrations has its positive and negatives, but nothing that really stands out as a downfall.

This is school is just incredibly awesome. Everyone is welcoming here! It's a small school so many people know each other, but you still have your space. Professors treat students first. We aren't known as numbers, but by our names. The campus energy is beautiful. It makes you want to be involved!
