What do you consider the worst thing about Butler University? Why?

Grace

I don’t find there to be any one specific “worst thing” about Butler. There are certainly things that I’m not happy to deal with (roommate problems, heating irregularities in old dorms, occasional awkward social situations, etc.). However, I realize that everyone has a different experience and, therefore, different disappointments. To be honest, I'm so happy with my Butler experience, I only see the positives.

Dominique

There really is not too many things that are bad about this school. If anything I would say some of the professors because some do not help out like they should but, most of them are amazing.

Nicole

The worst thing about Butler is that it is difficult to register for classes and get the schedule that you want becuase it is a small school.

I think the worst thing about Butler is also one of the bes tthings about it as well. Butler is a very small school. While everything my seem very new in th beginning; it can quickly become old. You see the same people everyday. Everyone ends up knowing everyone. I thought it almost seemed a little bit like high school all over again

It's realy expensive! And in this economy I have found it dificult to secure funds to attend. Also I feel like most people here are having their education being paid by their parents so I feel a bit of a disconect between a lot of the students.

Brittany

The lack of diversity and the financial aid. There isn't enough diversity at Butler that I have seen at other universities & they need to be a little more flexible with the financial aid for lower class & economically challenged families because Butler is not cheap.

It seems to have a reputation of being a bit of a party school (despite the fact that people take academics pretty seriously). I think this probably has to do with the fact that greek life is pretty predominate on campus.

Katie

Its like a big high school sometimes. People are always in other people's business. And, there are too many girls and not enough boys.

Alaina

The emphasis on Greek Life. A lot of campus activities are put on by the Greek students and at times if you are not Greek you can feel left out. However, all activites are accomodating and this feeling does not often occur.

Cecilia

It lacks in the amount of racial diversity
