Brigham Young University-Provo Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about Brigham Young University-Provo? Why?

Rachelle

I love attending Brigham Young University and all the things I learn. The students that attend this university are among the top in the world. The requirements to get into this school are very challenging. Overall the students live the way they are supposed to here. However, more and more we find that the students that attend are not living the way they are supposed to be living. They are going against what we are taught but do not portray the honesty they should when admitting that they are not living right.

Ryan

I really do not have any complaints.

Byron

I wish there was more diversity among the students. I grew up in Atlanta and I am very accustomed to cultural diversity. I enjoy living and being around different cultures.

Lesley

The rigidness of religion and how it diminishes diversity.

Sheng

too much mormons

Sarah

One of the worst things about the school is that there are so many students and sometimes not enough of a class. Its hard to get into a class when there are over 27,000 students attending. As I was registering for classes for the next semester I realized that most of the classes I had planned on taking were already full. I had finally after much time decided on what classes to take and then came to find out that they are all full and I will have to choose another set of classes.

Daniel

It is really hard, because it is competetive

Doris

People are happy on the inside, but do not show it on the outside. A lot of people look down when they walk to avoid eye contact. It is difficult to get classes when you are on schedule because those students who are late graduating can register before you.

Austyn

The constant change in weather since it is never predictable and can change at the worst times.

Jessica

The worst thing about my school is that there is little diversity. Most students that attend are middle-upper class, caucasion and LDS. We have a lot of students from other countries but not a diverse group from here. It would be better for all students to be exposed to more diversity.
