Brigham Young Univerisities campus astmosphere separates it from all other Universities that I applied to because it has strong moral values engrained into its honor code by prohobiting: drinking, smoking, and sexual activity before marriage , as part of the honor code; it also provides opportunities to serve in the community through helping the elderly, the troubled teens, the young students in need of tutors, the local food banks. I believe that the only way to succeed personally is by helping others succeed at the same time and BYU fit this motto best.

BYU fits my standards. I don't have to worry about judgement or catty remarks because of my beliefs because the entire university is based on those beliefs and is required to live by them. BYU also has exactly the program that I'm looking for, and their program is one of the top ranking in the United States. In the end, there was no other answer--I knew that BYU would give me the comfort and the training that I needed to be who I wanted to be.

The atmosphere and the honor code (a set of rules concerning personal conduct and dress that all students and faculty are required to follow) make all the difference. Also, everybody is friendly to everybody, and there is a place for everybody here.

Universities are places where our minds can develope many differents kind of skills. They are a places of education for life.
In adittion of this characteristic Brigham Young University is a place where not just our mind have an opportunity to develope knowledge. In BYU our spiritual and social development are as important as the mind development, this is what makes BYU unique over all others schools.
BYU is a place wher the spirit can learn too. The education in BYU is centered in one truth, we should learn to serve others in order to make a better world.

A friendly environment without all the drugs and drinking.

THe most unique aspect of BYU is it is a private Christian University, founded and run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly refered to as the Mormon church). The standards are really high. In order to even apply for the University, applicants must agree to live by the "Honor Code", a series of rules put in place to help protect students, encourage learning, and bring about an environment where students with high standards will all feel comfortable. Drinking, smoking, and drug use is almost non existent, both weekdays and on the weekends.

Brigham Young University brings in students from all over the United States and also the world, and builds in them a great sense of unity

I love how it is religion centered. As a private school run by a church we are allowed to bring religion and God into every subject. I like that. Many of my classes start with a prayer and try to bring the gospel into the subject matter so far as it permits.

BYU students are required to sign an honor code. The honor code states that you will dress modestly, not drink or do drugs, and that you will be chaste. Because of this BYU campus is very unique compared to other college campuses. Students here focus more on school, work, and social life with the absence of drugs and alcohol. The students here are very friendly and willing to hwlp others. BYU is also all about service. There are always service opportunites to either give back to the school, community, or other students.

There is a greater amount of unity because of the honor code, which all students must abide by. In order to attend the university, students cannot drink alcohol, coffee, or tea, smoke or use drugs. A dress code is enforced, which includes not wearing dresses or shorts that are above the knee and not wearing sleeveless shirts. Hair cannot be past a certain length for men and students must be well groomed.
Classes relate subjects to religious doctrines and often include prayer. Practically every student obeys these rules and they do it eagerly.
