byu is an awesome, friendly school with lots of amazing facilities and professors, etc, and is very cheap. it is also great to be in such a supportive religious environment, although people can be very judgmental.

Brigham Young University is a Mormon college and tuition is subsidized by church funds, so everything that is done has to be in accordance with the regulations that the church has set out, and because of that you can either have an incredible experience doing things their way or have a terrible experience trying to do things your way.

My school is friendly. It is also really diverse, except when it comes to religion. Most people will fit in well if they are LDS or have similar standards otherwise it might feel a bit restricting. But honestly it's worth it. Tuition is $4000 this year, and the education I'm recieving is amazing.
