JEWISH. Awkward: people tend to joke that awkwardness is born at Brandeis. Smart, but not party animals. Plenty of JAPs (Jewish American Princess) and rich kids. Just below the Ivies in terms of ability: most kids who go there, only went because they got rejected from Harvard. Very friendly, but a bit strange.
