The most unique thing about Bethune Cookman Univeristy in my opnion is the fact that even though its conisidered an Historically Black College, we are a VERY diverse campus. I love this about Bethune because it gives you the oppertunity to come acquainted with other cultures and their way of living. My first roomate was jamacian, and ever since then I've gained more respect for their culture. All in all I love my college!

The unique thing about my school that other schools don't have is thats its family oriented. When you first come to a school like Bethune you get that family vibe. That when you look around you see your brother's and sister's striving for what you are trying to achieve. Which is to get an education and to also graduate with a degree.

One of the most unique traits of my school is that, it has a rich legacy. We know what it means to embrace humble beginnings and to achieve greatness. It is often referred to as the ?Great Bethune Cookman University?! However, this institiution was initiated by our honorable founder Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, with two little girls and $ 1.50 cents. This university has had its obstacles that seemed fatal, but somehow the wonderful staff, Faculty, and students have managed to overcome! We have soared and continue to pursue greater heights.
