What kind of person should attend Bates College?

Joshua

I recently transferred to Bates college which has given me such a unique perspective on differing student bodies. Bates is so diverse that there is no singular factor to describe a type of person to attend this school save kindness. Coming to a new school midway through the semester was one of the most intimidating things I had ever done. The transition was made so much easier and possible due to people reaching out, showing genuine interest, and most importantly: just being friendly. Any type of person can and should attend Bates: it's an all inclusive caring college.

I believe anyone can attend Bates College you just have to be dedicated and strong within yourself. College is hard and Bates is harder, you have to know when it’s time to write that paper and when it’s time to study. You can do anything in college because no one is telling you what to do. However it’s your education and Bates it’s the institution where they don’t accept the basics. You have to go above and beyond to impress your professors. But overall ,why not changllange you’re self don’t fit the norm.

Fabio
