For the most part, these stereotypes are not accurate. Babson is a very diverse campus with students coming from all over the country and globe. Since Babson is so diverse, there is not a typical Babson student on campus. Every student at Babson is unique and brings a different culture to the campus.
Babson is a highly competitive school, so naturally we have a pretty heavy work-load. However, Babson balances the high workload by only having classes Monday-Thursday. This allows students to go out on the weekend, because they have an extra day to do classwork. Typically, Thursday and Saturday nights at Babson, students go out to either the pub on campus or socialize at a frat or suite.

Somewhat. We have a lot of Entrepreneurship focus, but we also have many liberal arts requirements, and also most people are actually in the finance field.

As much as I will deny the stereotype, it exists for a reason but there are plenty of people to counteract it.

We are pushy, we know what we want and we do what we have to to get it.
There are a lot of people with money on this campus, but there are also a lot without.
We're at one of the best business schools in the country, and we are all aware that each of us are almost guaranteed a 6-figure salary upon graduation, so yes we are cocky, but for good reason.

A lot of people here are crazy rich. But some aren't, and some are actually here on complete/almost complete financial aid (like me). 2 is true. As for 3, if you sit in your dorm, do nothing, and expect it to be like UAlbany or Ohio State, then you're in for a severe let down. But if you try and make stuff happen, you'll end up having a great time.

After attending prep-school for my four years of high school I might be slightly biased but I was shocked when people were claiming that Babson is preppy. Babson has a very diverse student body and maybe a few kids will occasionally "pop their collar" but it looks more like a Massachusetts suburb than Greenwich or Darien.
Babson students have a lot more pride in their school than they tend to let on. The recent formation of "Beaver Nation" has helped to raise school spirit a lot, and the turnouts at some of the basketball, hockey, soccer and lacrosse games has been pretty impressive.

definitely...these kids are out for money and money only...friends are a bonus...certainly an option...and a lot of babson students are rich spoiled kids whose parents can pay the big bucks for them to go here...definitely a lot of arrogant pricks at this school

-yes, but not EVERYONE is snobby..(a handful)

Some of the stereotypes are accurate, like the work load can be very difficult, and for the most part, everyone is fairly wealthy, but both have their exceptions.
