Austin Peay State University Top Questions

How hard it would be to register and get through with everything.

that i had to claim my parents on my financial aid application until i'm 24. this disqualifies me for everything when i have to pay by myself.

I knew a lot about this Unversity because my older brother had went here as well. I wish I had known how important campus involvement was my freshman year. Everyone puts emphasis on grades and academics in HS, but you must also be an active member and show leadership abilities to become successful and build a good resume.

Be sure to continue checking with financial aid throughout the summer to make sure they don't lose your information. They lost mine and it pretty much messed everything else up (classes, housing, etc.)

That the financial aid office sucks. they spin you around and around to different places and never answer your questions directly. they make it so difficult.

I wish I had known that living on campus makes it easier to get involved and fit in.

I really like Austin Peay State University and the programs and activities it offers. I have always been very pleased with the education that I have recieved, and feel as though the department of education is doing a wonderful job to give me the skills I need to be an effective teacher. There is really nothing that I did not know about the campus before coming, due to the fact that I researched the campus throughly before registering and coming to APSU.
