Austin Peay State University Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about Austin Peay State University? Why?

Marina

Austin Peay's school spirit I feel like could have sometimes been better. While I was surrounded by people that loved going to athletic events more students could have supported our football team. In the time of my undergraduate career our football team had only won one game and while this is disappointing supporting our team is imporant in maintaining a positive outlook on the football season.

Once you graduate from Austin Peay State University, you are pretty much on your own when it comes to finding a job.

The worst thing about Austin Peay is dealing with the offices, like Admissions and Financial Aid. They often rush in dealing with you or brush you off all together. Personally, the main thing I don't like about them is their Disabilities Office. They are not very supportive. I stopped using them most of the time because it was always so disappointing.

I feel the worst thing about Austin Peay is the gossiping. Yes, i understand that everywhere you go you will run into this but sometimes it just goes too far and its not something i agree with. Yet i understand it will be everywhere we are all human and everyone makes mistakes.

The wost thing about my school is the way online portion of the school is set up. I find the email system my school uses to be more complex than it should be. This makes it more difficult to get in touch with the professors.

rebecca

the worst thing about my school is that the meal plans are so expensive. it is hard to get lunch on campus after classes are paid for

Nothing is too bad at Austin Peay.

The parking. We are a growing school in the middle of a small established city. There really isnt room for expnasion, but the school administration is allowing it. Now that they have expanded, there is barely any room for teachers, let alone students to park!

Ida

The worst thing about my school is the challenge of competing for classes during open registration. This is probably because the university only offers a limited number of classes per semester along with a limited number of students in each class.
