American River College Top Questions

I used to consider the best thing the ability to take a lot of classes and get a feel for what you want to study without spending tons of money. But lately that's been impossible since the school imposed a unit cap and cuts you off after a certain point. This is mostly due to the budget crisis though. The best thing now I would say is class sizes. It's easy to talk personally with teachers.

American river college is also a place that has most of the short term majors for anyone who wants to attend and graduate from 4 year college.Student can go to school while the school pay for their education.But they must work hard.

Several things seem different then other schools I've seen. The staff in general are willing to take the time to make sure that you have a good understanding of what is needed for a degree, ie., AA/AS or what 's needed to transfer to a four year college.

The best thing about my school is that I am able to get a good lower-level education for a fraction of the price of a four year school. I really enjoy being able to get all my general education requirements out of the way, without having to worry about cost. American River College has allowed me to focus on my transfer goals and given me a chance to broaden my horizons by offering a wide variety of less expensive classes.

I think American River College is a really good school. Not only is it affordable, but you still get the same level of education with more resources than a university. ARC has so many centers that spend all they time you need to help you get a better understanding of what you need. All of the instroucters are very friendly and are willing to help you when you need it. Another great thing i really like about arc is that there is such a varity of classes you can take, that touch basis with many majors.

I really enjoy the staff. Though it may seem as if thier meant to push you hard, the American River Biology staff prepares you well.

The best thing about my school is that everyone there is so diverse. You learn a lot from the variety of classmates you have in class. It leads to insightful discussions.

What I love about ARC is that it offers a wide range of classes. I love variety so it really fufills my needs. It also allows me to fulfill my GED with classes that actually intrest me.

I like the fact that the campus actually has things like financial aid and services for those that need help like tutoring. I like the campus layout its easy to find things if you know where you are going and have a map if you don't. I like the library because of it being quiet and a place to go if you need to study. It is important to have places to study and things to help finacially.

I like that there is such a variety of students and professors. And through these people I am able to learn things that I would not have on my own. I also love the campus it is very beautiful and great to walk around
