This award is for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are dependents of an enlisted member or the Navy, Marines or Coast Guard on active duty, retired with pay, or deceased. The student must apply to an accredited post-secondary school, show financial need and have a valid Dependent I.D. Card.

MCSF Scholarship Program for Grandchildren of Marines
High school seniors and current undergraduate students whose grandparent served in certain units of the Marines during World War II are eligible for this scholarship. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and a household income of $82,000 or less.
MCSF Scholarship Program for Children of Marines
High school seniors and current undergraduate students who are children of U.S. Marines or Navy Corpsmen who served with the Marines are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher, and a family income of $98,000 or less.
AMVETS National Scholarship Program for High School Seniors
This award is available to children or grandchildren of a United States veteran who is an AMVETS member, or if deceased, would have been eligible for AMVETS membership. The applicant must be a high school senior with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Scholarships for Military Children
This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are 23 years of age or younger. Students must be a dependent child of an active duty personnel, reserve/guard, or a retired military member. Dependent children of employees of DoD, NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), Public Health Services or other federal or military related agencies or activities are not eligible unless they also meet the above requirement. Seabee Memorial Scholarship
The Seabee Memorial Scholarship is given to children and grandchildren of regular, reserve, retired, or deceased officers or enlisted members who have served or who are now serving with the Naval Construction Force. Scholarship awards are based on financial need, character, good citizenship, leadership, and scholastic record.
Military Order of the Purple Heart $3,000 Scholarship Program
This award is available for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are a Purple Heart recipient OR are the spouse, child, grandchild, or great-grandchild (natural or adopted) of a Purple Heart recipient. Students must also have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
Voice of Democracy Scholarship Program
U.S. high school students in grades nine through twelve who are 19 years of age or younger are eligible for this scholarship. To apply, the applicant must write an essay on the theme listed on the Veterans of Foreign Wars website and record the reading of that essay; submit both essay and CD/flash drive to be considered for this scholarship.
Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund
This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are the dependent child of a U.S. soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, or guardsman who was killed or permanently disabled (100 percent rating) as a result of an operational mission or training accident, OR a dependent child of a soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, or guardsman who is currently classified as a POW or MIA. Students must be 26 years of age or younger.
General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant
This award is available for U.S. high school seniors or older students planning to enroll full time in an undergraduate program of study.
