NMCRS Gold Star Scholarship Fund
The U.S. Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society sponsors the Gold Star Scholarship Program. It is for the dependent children and spouses of Navy and Marine personnel who were killed in the line of duty. Awards are decided by a blend of financial need and academic merit. Awards range from $500 to $2500 per academic year.
Blinded Veterans Scholarship
These military dependent scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit through an application process that is evaluated by a committee. George Sink, P.A Injury Lawyers Veterans & Military Family Scholarship
The George Sink, P.A Injury Lawyers Veterans & Military Family Scholarship is available for U.S. veterans who are currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited undergraduate or graduate program. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Bernard E. Dillon Vocational Skills Scholarship
This award is for students attending vocational-technical classes at an accredited vocational-technical school. Students must be current members of American Military Retirees Association (AMRA), their spouses or dependent children, or their grandchildren (who can be claimed as dependents on their parents’ income tax return).
Veterans United Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is open to surviving spouses and children of fallen active-duty or veteran members of the United States Armed Forces. The student must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a college or university in the upcoming semester to pursue a trade or professional certificate, associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, graduate, post-graduate or doctoral degree; the student must also demonstrate financial need.
Idaho Armed Forces/Public Safety Officer Dependent Scholarship
This scholarship is open to Idaho undergraduate students who are the children or spouses of military members or public safety officers who were killed, imprisoned, missing in action, or permanently disabled. Students must attend a public Idaho college or university.
Columbia College of Missouri Coast Guard Spouse Grant
This grant is awarded to fully admitted, degree-seeking students at Columbia College of Missouri. Applicants must be pursuing Associate’s degrees (except Associate of General Studies). Applicants must also be the spouse of an active duty Coast Guard member.
Hope for Kansas Heroes Endowment Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. students who reside in Kansas and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Students must be active duty military, veterans, or immediate family members of military members/veterans.
Pat Tillman Military Scholars Program
The Pat Tillman Foundation unites and empowers remarkable military veterans. U.S. veteran or active military service members, or the spouses of veteran, active or deceased U.S. military servicemembers are eligible to apply for this award. Students must enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program and demonstrate financial need.
