NROTC 2-Year Scholarship
The Navy ROTC 2 -year scholarship is a full tuition scholarship to a partner college or university. It also pays all colleges/university educational fees and provides uniforms and Naval Science textbooks as well as a stipend for textbooks (currently $750 per academic year ($375 per semester or $250 per quarter) and a Summer Cruise. Students also get a subsistence allowance each academic month: (Sophomore – $300/month, Junior $350/month, Senior – $400/month).
NROTC Preparatory Scholarship
The mission of the NROTC Preparatory Programs (NPP) is to expand NROTC opportunities to underserved or disadvantaged populations to produce a more diverse inclusive Navy officer corps. High school students may apply for one-year university, or privately funded scholarships to support room, board and tuition while enrolled in a university NROTC preparatory program. University NROTC Prep programs are designed to improve midshipman candidates’ academic and life skills to prepare for the rigorous NROTC academic program.

AWF Community College Legacy Scholarship
The Community College Legacy Scholarship is available to high school graduate women who has served or is serving honorably in the U.S. Army, Army Reserve, National Guard. Children of the women are also eligible to apply. Scholarships are merit and needs based and are awarded only for coursework from accredited institutions.
AWF College and University Legacy Scholarship
Army Women’s Foundation (AWF) provides grants to female soldiers, past and present, and their lineal descendants pursuing their education. The Legacy Scholarship Program offers financial support in four areas: Certificate programs, Community College coursework, Undergraduate Degrees, and Graduate Degrees.
VFW’s “Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship”
This scholarship provides service members and veterans with financial help needed to pursue their education without incurring excessive student loan debt. Up to $5,000 will be awarded to qualified applicants. Funds must be used by the end of the school semester for which the veteran is applying, or they will become null and void.
Fleet Reserve Association Education Foundation Scholarship
Up to $5,000 are awarded to enlisted members of the U.S. such as Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard pursuing college and graduate degrees. students must be full-time at accredited institutions. Military dependents such as spouses, children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of current or deceased may also apply.
The 9/11 Promise Scholarship
Scholarships may be used for tuition, room & board, required books & equipment, and related academic expenses. Terms of the award can be found on the provider website.
