Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)
The Navy HPSP program offers 100 percent of the cost of medical school, dental school or qualifying postgraduate school tuition plus a monthly sum of $2,200 and sign on bonus of up to $10,000. In return, selectees sign a service obligation which they fulfill after graduation.
Nurse Candidate Program (NCP)
The Navy NCP program offers up to $34,000 to help offset the costs of nursing school. It includes an initial $10,000 grant plus a monthly stipend of $1,000 for up to 24 months while earning your degree. In return, selectees serve as a commissioned Navy Nurse Corps Officer after graduation.
CAMS Scholarships
The Chinese American Medical Society (CAMS) is a nonprofit. Each year they award 3 to 5 scholarships of $5,000 each to first, second and third year medical or dental students in good standing who need financial aid to pay for dental education at an accredited U.S. dental school.
